Liquid compound made from residues, consisting of a mixture of high molecular weight hydrocarbons, both cyclic and saturated in low proportions. Soluble in carbon disulfide, trichloroethylene and other solvents, insoluble in water.
Asfalto EKBE
It is the asphalt whose behavior is defined by preserving its characteristics in the range of maximum and minimum temperatures expected in the place of its application, within which resistance to deformation or cracking and fatigue due to traffic is ensured.
Asfaltos Modificados
Improves the shelf life of mixtures: less preservation work. Easily available in the market. Allow greater thickness of the asphalt film on the aggregate. Greater resistance to fuel spillage.
Riego de Sello
The asphalt concrete pavement placed on site must receive a seal irrigation, to waterproof its surface or to vitalize it, reactivate it if it is dried out and shelled. The seal irrigation can be of two kinds, surface treatment and asphalt mortar (Slurry Seal).
